Dear Emily and Andy,

This is a long overdue thanks for the spectacular work you did on our house addition and remodeling. To say that we are thrilled with the outcome of our construction is an understatement. The renovation project that included a greatly enlarged kitchen, breakfast area, master bedroom and bath, transformed our home and brings us tremendous pleasure each day.

From the very beginning, we knew that our addition/renovation would be perfect. Your creativity coupled with your willingness to truly listen, insured that the project would reflect our vision and our needs. We were astonished at how quickly architect Geri Yantis captured our ideas with his design. The close collaboration between you and Geri yielded plans that were at once innovative and practical, with an overall cost estimate that proved to be an accurate gauge.

Once the plans were finalized, the construction process was exciting and surprisingly tolerable considering that nearly every square inch of our house was involved! The crew from your company was always punctual, polite and respectful of our improvised living spaces. They cleaned up the site each day and refrained from smoking anywhere near the house, a courtesy very much appreciated because of our son’s asthma. The sub-contractors that you brought in for jobs such as painting, tiling, electrical work, cabinetry, etc. were also highly capable, trustworthy craftsmen. Foreman Fred Smith was the best! We always had the sense that Fred was watching out for our interests, supervising the men carefully, and taking genuine pride in top quality workmanship. The fact that Fred, gregarious and skilled, also crafted a gorgeous patio, retaining wall, and walkways around the front and side of the house made him all the more special in our eyes.

While your talented, competent crews obviously contributed enormously to the smooth completion of the process, it was your continuous involvement that guaranteed the project’s success. You were both on the site many times each day, carefully inspecting the work, foreseeing challenges, and supervising every step of the construction. Your responsiveness never ceased to amaze us. You were always available for our questions, no matter how silly, and addressed with professionalism and speed any concerns that arose. Somehow you never missed a beat when we called you with last minute suggestions or changes. You were keenly sensitive to the impact of the construction on our lives and did your best to help us survive the tumult by telling us what to anticipate and working with us to time the most disruptive phases of the work. Emily’s practical, imaginative design know-how and Andy’s in-depth knowledge of construction made you the ideal team for actualizing a building project made more complex by our insistence on living in the middle of it! Your completing the addition one week before the anticipated finish date was a remarkable ending to a dynamic construction process.

There is an endless list of the reasons why we have become die-hard fans of Rosenthal Homes. The “oooohs and aaaaahs” of family and friends who have visited our “new home” are a testament to the top quality design and workmanship your company produces. Although the project has been finished for several months, we never fail to smile when we return to our home after a day at work. We absolutely love it!!

With sincerest thanks,

Judy and Brian
