Jim and Caroline have lived in their Chevy
Chase Home for many years and absolutely love the location and the
home. As their family has grown they needed to get more out of their
home and turned to Architect John Burroughs and Rosenthal Homes to
update and expand and renovate their home. The central focus of the
project was a renovated kitchen, new library/family room with custom
built-ins, and a new front entry. This project was very much about
keeping the feel and look of the home while adding spaces that simply
were not included in homes of this age. As you can see from the photos
the final product is quite exquisite.
Don’t take our word for it though….look at the
photos and read what Jim and Caroline have to say about their
experience:
“The complements from friends,
neighbors, and passers-by keep coming. The quality of work
blends so well with the existing structure both inside and out
that people say it looks like it is a new version of the
original house and not a major remodeling. The Rosenthal’s kept
the project moving and provided great advice on design issues
and were invaluable in helping us select tile, fixtures, counter
tops, etc. from an endless sea of choices. They take pride in
their work and it shows. Simply stated, we LOVE our Rosenthal
Home!”
