Exterior
Progress...
While the mechanical rough-in is being completed with the wiring for
the phone and stereo systems as well as the installation of a fire sprinkler
system there has been plenty of good progress made on the exterior of the home.
The somewhat mild winter in Maryland has helped Rosenthal Homes to make progress
on the exterior as well as interior. The shingle style siding is being applied
and is over half way completed, the roof is completed for the entire house, and
a good bit of the exterior cornice and trim work have been completed. The
shingles for the exterior walls of the home are made of a fiber concrete
composite material and are a terrific trend in home exterior finishing. They are
durable, easy to care for, paint-able and result in a beautiful and creative
looking home. The product being used on the Klein residence is manufactured by
James Hardie Inc, the industry leader in fiber cement siding. For years to come
you will see these fiber cement siding products applied to homes of quality in
combination with stone and brick or as the main exterior surface providing
beauty and flexibility.

As you look at the view of the front of the Klein
Residence, more and more the home is starting to take its final shape.
